Target Audience
The target audience is first-time fathers, so men, aged 18-40 years old. At a minimum, they have a high school diploma and/or further education. They are typically married or in a relationship at the time they are becoming a father for the first time. They may feel pressure to be the best traditional dad, especially if their dad played a traditional dad role in their life. They have a need to feel validated through spending time with their family, and through caring and providing for their family. Pre-existing mental health issues or underlying mental health issues may be heightened during this significant time in their life because of the added pressures of having a baby for the first time.
